Fundraising Events

Our three biggest fundraisers are:

  1. Casino (once every 3 years; next one is in 2028)
  2. Canmore Christmas Artisan’s Market (November 2026)
  3. Canmore Preschool Spring Silent Auction (March 2026)

Each of these provides essential operating funds for the Preschool programs, and each relies on the energy and creativity of our community of parents.

Year-Round Fundraising

In addition, we offer several year-round fundraising opportunities:

  1. Save-On-Foods Grocery Cards
    • Orders due on the 7th of each month. We receive 10%.
  2. Bottle Depot
    • You can ask the Bottle Depot to credit your refund to Canmore Preschool
  3. Mabel’s Labels
    • Order anytime at mabelslabels.ca. We receive 20%. Click the ‘support a fundraiser’ tab and insert ‘Canmore Preschool Society’.
  4. Scholastic Books

Parent Responsibilities

When you enroll your child in preschool you make the commitment to provide a minimum of 5 hours of volunteer work per child per year. This could be help cleaning toys, or at the Christmas Artisans’ Market, or auditing the books, or lots more opportunities throughout the year.
