Fundraising Events

Our three biggest fundraisers are

  1. Casino (once every 3 years; next one in 2028)
  2. Canmore Christmas Artisans Market (November 2026)
  3. Canmore Preschool Spring Silent Auction (March 2026)

Each of these provides essential operating funds for the Preschool programs, and each relies on the energy and creativity of our community of parents.

Year-Round Fundraising

In addition, we offer several year-round fundraising opportunities:

  1. Save-On-Foods Grocery Cards
    • Orders due the 7th of each month. We receive 10%
  2. Bottle Depot
    • You can ask the Bottle Depot to credit your refund to Canmore Preschool
  3. Mabel’s Labels
  4. Scholastic Books
    • Order at scholastic.ca. Please use Code RC213745 for Free shipping and the Preschool will earn 20% in Classroom Rewards on rewardable items.

Parent Responsibilities

  • Provide 5 hours of volunteer work per child per year. This could be help cleaning toys, or at the Christmas Artisans’ Market, or auditing the books, or lots more opportunities throughout the year.
